What we delivered
BASE 360 offered a mix of expert-led workshops, 1-to-1 organisational support, and accessible
resources designed specifically for the voluntary and community sector.
Our workshops covered:

– Community wealth building
– Leadership development
Each session included practical tools, templates and frameworks that organisations could apply

Who we supported
BASE 360 was designed for community organisations led by racially and ethnically minoritised groups across the East Midlands.

Our delivery included in-person workshops in Leicester and online sessions to ensure accessibility across the region.
Our approach
We believed capacity-building should last beyond a single workshop. BASE 360 combined expert-led
training with ongoing support and practical resources.
Our approach included:

– Follow-up mentoring as organisations implemented what they learned
– Real-world tools designed for community organisations, not corporate settings
– Delivery by practitioners with lived experience supporting VCSE groups

pressure, often with limited resources and barriers to funding and influence.
